Buddy Program

We all need a best friend.  Dudley’s Place we offer a peer support program for individuals living with HIV.  The process of giving and receiving encouragement offers emotional support, shared knowledge and connects clients with resources, opportunities, communities of support from other people.  Buddies are trained and receive support from Dudley’s Place staff.


 

Couch Talks

Sometimes the best person to talk with is someone who has lived through what you are going through. Couch Talks is our peer-to-peer support group for people living with HIV, this bi-monthly meeting lets you connect with other clients who have similar issues and discuss ways to overcome challenges. Facilitated by a member of the Dudley’s Place staff with lived experience, topics range from relationships, faith and HIV, or disclosure, group participants identify topics.

 
 

Group Counseling

Therapeutic groups help connect clients with others whom all face similar concerns. Group counseling provides a supportive environment to discuss problems and work toward concrete goals.  

Lead by the Dudley’s Place mental health therapist groups are topic focused and in the number of limited in sessions and participants.   Prior approval is required to participate.

 
 
 

Individual + Couples

We are not promised an easy life and the world can be unforgiving. At Dudley’s Place, clients can find help when struggling with anxiety, depression, disordered eating, anger management, relationship issues, parenting concerns, marital difficulties, grief, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

Gender Affirmation Counseling + Assessments

Not everyone fits neatly into the traditional gender and sexuality groups that society has created. Whether you identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, queer, questioning, fluid, variant, non-conforming, transgender, or another identity, it is important to find a knowledgeable and affirming counselor.


The Dudley’s Place mental health therapist can provide a welcoming space to explore identifies, provide assessments and support letters for gender-affirming hormone therapy and surgery.
